The IRHR Library has curated a list of databases which compile collective agreements for each Canadian province/territory, as well as federal USA sources. A Collective Bargaining Agreement, also referred to as Collective Agreement or Contract, is a legally-binding written contract, arrived at through the process of negotiations between the Union and the Employer. The Collective Agreement covers such things as the employee’s wages, hours of work, and terms and conditions of employment. This written agreement between the Union and the Employer is for a definite period of time, defines the rights of employees and the processes for resolving disputes or handling issues that arise during the term of the agreement.
